专辑简介

Montreal born artist Amanda Mabro grew up in the 80s and 90s listening mainly to pop and rock music. Over time her tastes evolved to include jazz, folk, soul, and indie rock. These influences culminated in a style that at the heart resembles the song-writing and vocal style of pop, rock, and soul artists from the 50s, 60s, and 70s but deliberately combines with the directness and immediacy of more modern music. After moving to Toronto in recent years, she had the honour and pleasure of writing with Canadian icon Ron Sexsmith. Amanda shared her stories about feelings of uncertainty, loss of identity, and lack of direction and by the end of their first writing session, "It's Easy Enough" was written and turned into a duet featuring Ron Sexsmith. What began as a one time song writing session blossomed into the 4 song Easy Enough EP that was Inspired by Motown's "Hitsville" in which the creative process centres around a collaborative and democratic approach to songwriting. Amanda assembled a team of wonderfully talented and diverse writers, songwriters, musicians, artists and composers leading to additional tracks "Lose Myself”, "Nothing Left" and “The Trap”.
